Team ACID just had our proposal defense this past Friday (2/22) and we got the all clear to move forward with our project! We received some extremely valuable feedback from our proposal committee and we are extremely excited to implement their suggestions and move forward with our project. Huge thanks to Dr. Skendall, Dr. Coale, Dr. Sunny, Dr. Yuan, Dr. Lanford, and Dr. Wiesner for being part of our proposal committee.
Team ACID had our first meeting of this semester. We reviewed the work we did over break and are preparing for our proposal meeting, at which a panel will listen to our proposal presentation and critique us. We are using the new research we have found over break to strengthen our previous proposal.
As the semester comes to an end, we are finalizing our proposal. We are currently reviewing our proposal and the suggestions made by our mentor. Our main focus is the neurological pathways that correspond to LSD and ASD in order to finalize our methodology.
Team Acid is brainstorming and finalizing potential hypotheses and generating methodologies. We are continuing our research into micro dosing treatments, autism, and rat models.
Team Acid has spent the summer and the beginning half of this semester researching which we are now using to draft our first outline and work towards our proposal. We have had our first meetings with our adviser in which we've been discussing ways to measure the stress in our rodents.
Team Acid is getting into the swing of things this semester. We are currently organizing our meeting times and refining our project's vision with our adviser.
